Terms, Before the Truck Rolls
How the number is set, what this form is and isn't, where your car goes, and who's doing the driving. One read; it's shorter than the wait for a HELP truck.
The quote
The tow company that takes your request gives you one all-in number on the callback, built from three facts you supply — where the car is, what it is, and where it's going — plus the hour and the situation you describe. That number is quoted before hookup. If the scene turns out different from the description (a car in the creek instead of on the shoulder, all-wheel drive that needs a flatbed), the revised figure is said out loud before any work starts, and you can decline it. This is a request form, not an emergency line
The form is not watched around the clock: requests are read and passed to one independent local tow company within a day, and that company answers by callback. Stranded somewhere unsafe? Call 911 or your insurer's roadside line. If you or anyone else is in danger — in a live lane, injured, in a vehicle that's smoking — call 911 first and request the tow second. On I-24 and I-75, TDOT HELP trucks patrol and can give free traffic protection while you wait for anyone.
Where your car goes
Your choice, stated on the callback: your mechanic, your driveway, a shop of your naming. A storage yard is never the default. If circumstances force one — a police-directed tow, no destination given — the daily rate is a meter, and the tow company should say so before the car goes in.
Junk cars
The offer is made on the callback from your description and confirmed at pickup when the car matches it. Bring whatever paperwork you have for the vehicle; the driver will tell you on the callback what's needed to complete the pickup.
Coverage
Chattanooga, East Ridge, Hixson, Ooltewah and Red Bank, plus both interstates through the whole ring. Outside that, the callback will say yes or no, with the mileage priced in if it's a yes.
Who's driving
This website is the request desk. The independent tow company that takes your request, and the driver it sends, do the work, and the tow is their responsibility from hookup to drop. You're entitled to an itemized receipt and to know the operator's insurance is in force — ask on the callback if you want it confirmed before the truck is sent.
